Went Friday, Feb. 27th around 6pm. Had to wait to get seated, then had to wait for crawfish. Their were many small ones and 'soft' shelled ones. Ordered potatoes and corn. Four potatoes were very hard. Talked to the owner about the quality and were told "you get what you get". He sent four more potatoes to the table and they were just as hard. Spent $80.and wasn't impressed. The waitress kept apologizing to us for the quality of the food. Won't be going back - $6.99/lb. They weren't worth it. Won't spend our money with them ... read more
I think that place sucks. The crawfish taste very good if they serve them to you I went in there today and waited over an hour for my crawfish to come to my table which they never did I just got up and left the pickle right beside me sit down at the same time that I did their order was taken their order was at their table in 15 minutes I never got my crawfish. I don't care how damn good they taste they worth a shit if you don't never get them I will not be back there
Best crawfish I have had in YEARS! The atmosphere is great, the service was sort of slow but the place was packed so no complaints about it. The waitresses were all really nice. Definitely going back.

Horrible Customer service as we got there at 8 tonight and was told no more Crawfish. We went for shrimp and was told the kitchen closed at 7 when they are open until 10. The disinterested employee behind the counter could care less that we had driven 90 minutes to Pook's from west Houston. We were not offered a drink for the road or other items on the menu. They were ready to leave and we are very disappointed Houstonians.

I'm extremely picky about my mudbugs and cook them regularly. This is one of the best restaurants I've ever had them at! A+++!!!
