I want to express an immense thank you to Pookadai. I ordered from this location and picked up in Brampton. I asked for a last minute order of a lotus mala/garland as well as string of jasmine and purple flowers. Every single place I called from Brampton to Scarborough didn't have stock or needed 10 days for a custom mala/ garland order. We had a death in the family on the long weekend and were needing the mala/garland ahead of the funeral. I ordered on Tuesday for a Wed night pickup for a Thursday funeral. Especially with my bouquet - the employees were very flexible, and helped with personalizing everything that I'd wanted. They are also very proactive with following up on orders and requests. We recently used Pookadai for our wedding and, unfortunately, had a mixed experience. While the malai/garlands were beautiful in appearance, they were already wilting at the ends. The process around the hair florals was particularly stressful. I was informed last minute that bridal jasmine would not be available, which left little time to find alternatives.
