I was referred to Dr. Janani and find her very pleasant. She listened to all my questions and provided information so I could research diagnosis, medication and treatment online myself.
I haven't felt this dismissed in so long by a provider. She was very rude, with the statements that she was saying. I told her I have pictures and other providers have proof of my criteria. She said, no but you are going to do it for me. Move your thumb to your arm. It was irresponsible of her to ask me to show my hypermobility because doing what is referred to as "party tricks" (displaying the hypermobility) creates microscopic tears, which eventually become larger tears. When I first came to Dr. Janani, I had no idea what sort of medical issue I was experiencing. Once she diagnosed me with RA, I was extremely sad and disappointed. However, she has turned my sadness into great energy. She has found a way for me to take medication, and my disease does not seem to be progressing.
