The above comments are directed to doctors who do not practice at our vision clinic and seem to be placed on this site by error. We are a full care eye clinic and don't treat any medical issues.

If you want consistent, horrible customer service this is your place. I have had several issues on multiple occasions where no one at the office was communicating with myself or anyone else and ended up with contacts that were not ordered even after several phone calls were placed. A second instance when I was simply trying to figure out if my insurance covered frames without lenses ended up with several phone calls and still no answer.

If you enjoy waiting 10-20 minutes for a live person on the phone, or find their fax isn't working when you repeatedly try to fax info to them, of if you want to sit in an overcrowded office and wait past your appointment time to be seen, go there. Otherwise you can find 21st century service at places like University Co hospital.

I do think my doctor Leslie Stanwix is awesome. However, due to my current finanical situation and me being between jobs, I recently tried to fax Ponderosa for an asthma medication that I really need to have on hand and the staff member I talked to pretty much told me that I can only get one more before I have to come in. I just wanted a few to tide me over until my situation changes because there is no way I can afford to be seen in addition to medication costs! Have seen Dr Draper for 11-12 years. Never have had a cross word with him. In that time I've requested that he call me twice. Once he did and the second time, here recently, he refused. not once but three times. The front office staff has always invited confrontation by the way they talk to me on the phone. They don't know anything about medical issues until you express a different view point, then they're the experts. I love my doctor there and I have been going there for a long time. However the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. It seems like everytime I need to call there for anything its another ordeal. I still see my doctor there now but we have consider changing hundreds of times over the last 6 years. If I didn't like Dr Stanwix so much I would have left years ago.

I do know that the doctors here are wonderful - at least that has been my experience. However, as long as no one makes a mistake or anything - you will be fine. But - I had a horrible experience because their office made a mistake. They treated me like it was my fault and made me undergo a lot of unnecessary stress because of it. When I complained to the office manager - there were no apologies for their behavior or the mistake.
