Everyone is always kind and helpful. I'm just about always able to get my prescriptions the same day (and very quick if you're there in person waiting. Sometimes they don't have an uncommon medication in stock, but they order it for the next morning and you still get it pretty fast!

I’m sharing this experience because medication access should not require months of persistence from a patient. My prescription for Nurtec ODT 75 mg, taken every other day for migraine prevention, had an active prior authorization approved on June 18, 2025, valid through June 18, 2026. Beginning in December 2025, I was repeatedly told by Ponchatoula Family Pharmacy that no authorization had been received and that my physician had not responded. This is a very nice escape from the big companies. I have been doing business with them since 2020 and have had nothing but great business with them. My prescriptions are always on time and correct, and the pharmacy is always willing to help with a smile on their face, no matter how busy they are.
