I was trying to surprise my son-in-law and have his tire replaced, and having just relocated from Oregon just randomly picked a tire dealer in Galesburg. The gentlemen at Pomp's listened to what I wanted - two new tires on the front and rotate the front tires to the back. They ordered the tires and scheduled the appointment. When the mechanic got the car up, the back two tires were in shreds. They rotated them as per my request, but informed me that the other two weren't in much better shape.
