WOW! What a wonderful find. Stopped in for lunch and had a fantastic meal. Lunch prices were very reasonable and portions were filling. Scratch made food here down to the chips and salsa they bring to the table. The rice had flavor! Was not just colored rice. The beans were clearly homemade and not out of a can. The view of the lake is incredible while you eat. Service was great we will definitely return on our next trip to Alpena.
First time. To me and only me the food was average. I am probably spoiled due to where I live and have visited. The salsa was plain and tasted sweet. It looked like it was tomato's and onion. To me, it was missing some ingredients. The beef taco was the same. No flavor. The Chile Pablano needed more cheese. Everything was made fresh. But to lacked flavor. I know some places season down for certain groups and allergies and I get that.
Cute restaurant with very fast friendly service. Glad we stopped in for lunch on our trip! They have good lunch specials too
