I had a birthday dinner there on Saturday night. We had a table set for 12 people. The table location was perfect for us. The food and service were outstanding. We brought in a cake and the server brought it to the table after dinner. Wonderful experience. Thank you Pomodoro!
Today was the first time my girlfriend and I have been to Pomodoros since the makeover. I like the new patio but agree it needs a bit more screening from the parking lot. My chicken ciabatta sandwich and salad were tasty and proportioned as expected. My girlfriend's Burrata salad, on the other hand, was a major disappointment. I live in DC and look forward to going to Pomodoro's when I visit. So disappointed in the new patio. While the old one needed updates, it was cozy, kitschy and felt like a green oasis in the city. The new patio is completely devoid of character and needs higher walls to block out the parking lot. It's so sterile and the view is awful. While the burrata salad was delicious, my filet was over cooked and the mashed potatoes were bland. The menu has changed slightly and the drink recipes seemed to have changed also.
