Very fun, good food This restaurant is located in downtown Rochester, but has free parking right behind the restaurant. The restaurant has excellent food and good wine. The wine is a little pricy but the food is wonderful. Order the pizza from the wood burning stove, it is good.
Lunch or after work drinks Very nice place for lunch. It boasts a bright, sunny - glassed in patio. They have great salads and grilled sandwiches. It's also a good place to meet friends after work place to have a drink and a bite.
entertainment I recently went to Pomodoro's with my friends. We had a great time. The atmosphere is fantastic. The band The Special Blend is one of the best that I have heard. I am moving to Rochester from Baltimore and will continue to enjoy the music and food.I hope the band keeps playing. I am looking forward to hearing them again in Feb. Karen Myers
RecommendedI had my baby shower there yesterday and it was truly an experience to remember. Lily, Matt and Sarah are nothing but extraordinary at what they do! From having the venue already set up perfectly when we arrived, to the food & mimosa bar being amazing- just the all around experience is outstanding! Everything went so smooth & the amount of compliments that went around were endless! Thank you so much for having such a great staff & I would HIGHLY recommend an event at Blades !
I had my baby shower at Blades this past weekend and everything was perfect! Lily S. was frequently in communication with me prior to the event and had the room ready exactly as we had planned. The food was delicious (I got so many compliments on it from guests!) and service was fast. I definitely recommend Blades for a private party/event!!
