Wonderful food and wonderful people
Been here many times over the years and have always enjoyed. Great, friendly staff and good food... But when there a couple weeks ago I ordered the fried oysters that used to lightly battered, large, juicy, and good! This time I was disappointed. The oysters were in a heavy batter and very greasy. The oysters inside were still big and creamy but the batter was not good. Guess I'll go back to the shrimp which has always been good next time!
Their key lime cake is delish! And so is their catfish!
Shrimp Trio is phenomenal. Grilled and sautéed are my favorite of the three, but I've got an uncle that stops by anytime he comes through town for "the best fried shrimp ever." Also, the ribeye is better than any steak I've had in Macon, and for far less expensive. And the service is fantastic. Check it out.
