Had a great experience first time visit for some Blepharitis issues with stye becoming calcified and not going away, a few on my lower right lid. Checked around for specialize ophthalmologist that could look at the skin around the eye and was sent to Dr.Poll. Upon my first visit, he checked told me a few options, and I opted for procedure, rather than sending me away for another day to schedule, he was able to take care of it right then and there! I received an exam Dr Poll was paid by United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plan 2 my insurance company only to learn if I want a written Rx it’s another $50. Seems he should not participate if he thinks not paid enough snd wxnts more. $$$

I had a bad experience with not only him, but the front office staff. When I called in, I was told it was a free eye exam. When I got there, they tried to hit me up for $50 co-pay and when I told them it was free with my insurance, all they said was we can't guarantee anything. Then my eyes are looked at by both Poll and his assistant. Both asked me for my old eyeglasses. I was never told to bring them in. Poll seemed annoyed by this and after he checked me out with a prescription, he sent me on my merry way with no dark eye... read more
Awful billing dept. I will never return to Dr Polls office. Finally got help with my eyes going to a Target Dr. that sent me to a cornea Specialist. I will make sure my friends and family don’t go there.
