My friend and I went to Polish yesterday she for a pedi and I a manicure both non gel as we both feel the gel polishes have become bad for our nails - really has thinned them out. We like gel of course as it lasts longer so we were both aware they would not last as long as gels do. We both picked the same color polish. While our polish was applied we did notice it did not apply evenly. My manicurist to even layers out put 3 coats on my nails as she had to work small clumps in the polish as well as the unevenness. With an appointment I waited over an hour for my appointment to start. I was asked to select elements for my pedicure and didn’t get what I selected. I asked for a gel polish for my pedicure and regular polish for my manicure and wanted the polishes to be close to the same color. I was given two different colors. They do not sanitize- I watched technicians go from client to client reusing all the same tools. Two of my gel polish nails popped off completely less than 24 hours after my service. They were rude they they didn’t do for I asked
When my friend and I went here to get our nails done the owner said they didn’t have anyone there to do TAP gel that day even though I called ahead. He said we can do dip. I explained to him that it lifts off my nails and with TAP I never have lifting. He said to us both, “you try it and if it lifts or you don’t like it come back and we will fix it for free.” My nails lifted as did my friend’s. We went back today not even 2 weeks later.
