Horrible Service – I went to Polish Bar to get a minx mani. When I made the reservation my credit card number was required to guarantee my reservation and I was informed that I will be charged for the service if I didn't cancel within 24 hours of my appt or didn't show up. Over priced, Poor service: sucks – I got a mani-pedi from Polish Bar. I took off my coat and the nail tech rolled it and place it on a chair. The pedi massage chair was TOTALLY BROKEN, the padding was warn out (i could feel the motor tracks on my butt) The buttons of the remote were entirely gone and the thing shook violently. The girl did not speak english so when I asked to have the thing turned off she had no idea what I was talking about. I was charged for extra tools that I did not want. Love this place! – I was referred to this place by a co-worker for eye lash application. Since that first visit, I have not only become a loyal patron, I refer my bridal clients and friends to them for special day beauty pampering. Great and professional staff. Cool Decor. Although the space is small, it is very nice. If you need to stretch out, thier space on Vanderbuilt Ave is much larger.

Looks cool from the outside... – ..but once you actually get into the chair you know you've spent too much on a whole lotta nothing. You're better off going to the Dashing Diva on Montague or better yet, though it may be a pain, just go into the city. Though less grimy than most of the other places on Myrtle, the pedis and manis are not worth the money for sure..PLUS I HATE the way they sneak in that extra buck for your "supplies". UGH! Much Needed Nail Therapy – I was starting to think that my feet and hands would require therapy after years of being physically abused by sub par nail techs. I walk into Polish Bar hoping for a reprieve and I got more than I hoped for. I was met with a smile by receptionist and techs and was able to enjoy an ample supply of magazines, great music and a cool cup of water as I waited. Great service, fantastic mani/pedi and CLEAN! – I’ve been to both Polish Bar Brooklyn locations. The staff at each location was professional, accommodating and best of all clean. Their selection of nail colors is really extensive and the products that they sell have proven to be good as well. I found the owner to be sweet and personable. Fab ambiance; professional staff – The receptionist and technicans knows your name. PBB is a extension of your living room. they make you feel comfortable and they explain your services and their featured specials. Surprisingly my nail polish on my hands lasted for more than a week. which is rare for me since i'm always cleaning up after my husband, dog and children. If you looking for a place to spend your money during these economic times; pbb is worth it at fraction of the city's price.

Worst manicure/pedicure experience – Looks fine from the outside, but turns out to be an overpriced, disappointing experience. Staff knew that I had a gift certificate for a set amount of money and gave me services for extra without asking. My manicurist was poorly trained, inattentive, and at times rude. Definitely not worth the hefty price tag. Horrible Customer Service, Sub-par expertise. Obnoxious owner – My wife went in for a touch up to her extended nails. The owner told her that the nail extensions needed to be replaced and that she would offer them at the removal and the new set at 50% off. She asked my wife to come in yesterday and get her old extensions removed and also set up an appointment for today to put on the new ones. Yesterday the lady who was removing them took an hour to remove them. So my wife paid 50% of the rate of 10$ and left. Today morning t... read more
