Do you like rats, roaches, flooding,toilets that plug when you flush them, and a condescending staff who could care less about you? Then your going to LOVE The Breyley Apartments(a UDR company) If you like it dark, this is just the place for you. No ceiling lights, limited windows, and no fans for circulation. Sound depressing? IT IS! But wait theres more. If drugs, thugs, and bugs are your thing, you have found the honey hole mi amigo! Parking is limited so come on down, you clown!
Not a good place to live, it's over priced for what you get. They will try to get you for everything when you want to move out. Do your research and look up some reviews online before you rent here. 0/10, not recommend,=.
I had a very serious BLACK MOLD issue at the Hawthorne apartments. I was unaware of the dangers of black mold and when I reported it growing in my master bedroom closet, I was told to clean it with a clorox and water solution. So I did that. I cleaned it with the solution in spring of 2012 and I called again in Spring 2013 and was told to clean it again. I understand some mold will grow in the windows but NOT in a clothing closet. My stay here at Polo Park has been pretty good so far. I've been here almost a year and so far so good. Is it perfect no but no apartment complex is. The management and staff at Polo Park are good people they always treat me with respect and speak to me when I come in the office. And if I have questions concerning any issues that I have I always get an answer. Facilities are clean and well-kept . My experience at Polo Park has been much less than acceptable. It is a great place with many things to offer, but it is very poorly managed. I just moved in here three months ago. When I first applied here, it seemed as if everything ran very smooth. They really do a great job of getting your application processed, collecting fees, etc. They nailed the move in date for me, and that was something that was important for my particular situation. WORST APARTMENTS EVER! The office staff were very nice to me when I first moved in but after I was there for a few months they became rude and completely ignored me when I walked in to ask questions and ignored my phone calls. I had to call from different numbers just to get them to answer my phone calls and I never gave them any reason to treat me this way. I signed a lease last month after seeing a beautiful model apartment. I was told someone was in the ONLY upgraded unit that they had available so I wasn't able to view it but was promised it was just the same & I'd even have a gorgeous "lake view". I even agreed to pay the extra $100 a month for the "upgrades". On July 31st (move in day) I went to finish my lease and get my keys. I LOVE Lakewood Place in Brandon ! I am VERY SATISFIED and I highly recommend it. I have been there for one year and I just renewed my lease. The staff is FANTASTIC, they do the extra mile and they always reply to my emails on the same day. They are very friendly and accommodating. Yikes! Be warned. Management here is an absolute disaster! They will play a lot of silly games to get you in the door but expect no professionalism or courtesy after that! If you are moving here, a couple things of which to take note. 1 - Parking.
