Great Play’s, clean, wooded, close to hiking Trail’s and Lake, an actual Jen you wine usable Wi-Fi. Full hook ups of course.
Good sized spaces w trees and bushes between and behind create a feeling of privacy. Bathroom are always clean and maintained. Front office staff are friendly and helpful. Owner helped us with a first backin. Setting among remarkable rocks. Trails to hike to lake. People were quiet. Didn’t see any kids and it’s not particularly kid friendly. Close to groceries. Great place-family friendly, big rig friendly. Some pet restrictions. The check in has a little store and was priced very fairly. They have a free dvd renting section. Free wifi. Nice 10-15 walk to Watson Lake. No swimming but lots of fishing and kayaking. Each site has tress and a picnic table. The rest rooms and showers are very clean. Highly recommend it. We camped in a class c 33ft. No issues with the sight they are very level
We thought the RV park point of rocks was fantastic we pulled in no problem late at night found our spot didn’t have to level our fifth wheel everything was perfect nice wide sites great TV reception and beautiful trees everywhere and rock big rocks with with full hook ups the restrooms were the cleanest we’ve ever found even military restrooms weren’t as clean as point of rocks we will definitely stay there on our next trip to Prescott.
We started going to Point of Rocks Campground in the late 70's, early 80's. Then we moved to Prescott from Phoenix in 1987. We stopped camping because now we lived here. Last year we bought a travel trailer and even though we still live here, we started to camp here again. It's only 20 minutes from home but we're still getting away for a weekend. We love this campground, it has great spaces and beautiful scenery. They have been making a lot of improvements but it is still the campground we came to over 30 years ago.
