Dr. Valerie Cardeiro has been working with an expired license. My airline ESA health form was denied due to Cardeiro’s expired license since May 31st. She has turned her back and refused to mediate the situation. Cardeiro hung up on me this morning when I requested my dogs medical file be sent to me. I have been a loyal client for four years and this is how they treat me. Point Loma Veterinary Clinic is one of the gems of Ocean Beach. Dr. Cardeiro is knowledgable, compassionate, and fair. Her staff is also extremely helpful and friendly! PLVC works closely with San Diego rescue agencies such as Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego Pug Rescue of San Diego Animal Alliance of San Diego The Rescued Dog The goal of this hospital is to offer great care at a reasonable price and to always put your pets health/well-being first. 10/10 would recommend to any locals who need a new veterinarian.
I moved to San Diego recently and this vet was great! Everyone is friendly, has an obvious love for animals and I was extremely happy with our experience here.
I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to this hospital. My husband and I were vacationing in Ocean Beach from Arizona with our 4 pugs. Our Abbey was having a problem with her eye and we just walked in and explained our situation. The staff and Dr got us in immediately, checked her eye, and gave us the medication she needed. Dr Cardeiro refused to fill medication that my pet has been on, stably, for over 4 years.
Ive never had such friendly and great service! Definitely a place I can trust with my two precious fur babies. We will be returning with all our pets needs!
