RecommendedWe stayed at the Point Au Roche Lodge last evening and our stay was nothing short of amazing! Karen met us when we walked in the door and showed us around. Our room was clean and quiet. The jacuzzi tub was so relaxing! We enjoyed walking around the grounds, sitting in the gazebo and just hanging out in our room. It was nice to not have a TV and no distractions! My husband and I spent our 24th anniversary here. The owners of this beautiful oasis make you feel welcomed from the time you step inside to the time you leave! The room was so comfortable and the breakfast was so yummy! It was the best sleep we have had in months! The Jacuzzi tub was so relaxing before getting into the incredibly soft bed. With no televisions and so much beauty between the many trails to walk and the birds at the many feeders it was a perfect get away from everything. We will definetly be back!
After being home for months, we decided to venture out (cautiously) for a weekend at Point Au Roche Lodge. I’m so glad we did! The Point Au Roche Lodge is the perfect place to get away and enjoy the Adirondacks! The rooms are beautiful and each has it's own theme. If you can book a room with a deck it is well worth it!! The scenery looking out at the property with trees and bird feeders is very relaxing. The abiance of the whole lodge is breath taking. The owners, Karen and Creston, make you feel so welcome. Stayed for one night last week...wish it were more!! The hospitality was incredible, food out of this world and the lodge itself was comfortable, beautiful and a great place to relax. We plan on going back next summer, for a few more days!!
Hands down, the best B&B we've ever visited. I hate to say everything was perfect, but everything -- room, food, overall vibe -- was perfect! I'll be doing a more detailed review in other places, but suffice it to say that Point au Roche Lodge is very highly recommended. It's amazing what a couple of caring, hard-working people can do. Thanks, Karen and Creston, for an outstanding experience. We'll definitely be back.
