Our motorcycle riding group, the Myrtle Beach Motorcycle Riders, have had Poe's Tavern on our list for awhile and we finally made it happen and it was great! Totally worth the ride down. I had the "Tell Tale Heart" burger and it was delicious as were the French fries. There were 8 of us and each member really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back. My first experience, and it was amazing♡ the staff was friendly, great service and a friendly atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. The only downfall is that it's a 40 or so minute drive away... I need one like right next door�

I have a red meat allergy, the staff went to extremes to protect me from cross contamination. The food was delicious, and the beer selection was great. You can tell they clean their taps regularly. Fantastic!

The worst Food and service! Waiter was very non chalant. Didnt seem to care had to chase a very unfriendly waitress down for drink refill. The food was horrible! Before i ordered the manhattan fish stew asked what was in it. The waiter said fish and shrimp in tomato base. There was absolutely no fish or shrimp in it. It apeared they used old hamburger. Very bad. Did not have the fish sandwich that was listed on menue instead had fish and chips cooked in old grease. Very over priced!

Hi Robin, your comments are disheartening. Our hamburger meat is ground fresh in-house daily and we are very conscious of our fry oil. If you did not enjoy your meal, did you alert your server or a manager? We would have been happy to address any concerns at the time of your visit. A majority of the time our Market Fish special is a sandwich, however sometimes we feature the extremely popular Fish and Chips in place of a sandwich. We apologize for the confusion on that.
We had a large party of people. They were very friendly and attentive.
