Jerman, the driver that deliverd my PODS is friendly and understands the complexity of what appears to be a simple delivery. He knew how to make sure that I'm able to roll up the shutter door to access my stuff. Sometimes what's inside the POD get shifted forward making it really hard to roll up the coiling or shutter door. With that very important step I can avoid the hazzle of inability to access my items, then calling for help and wasting precious time. I was initially quoted $9300 for using one 16ft. container to move from Virginia to California. After learning about the Costco Executive Member discount, which we already were members of, I got the price reduced to $7200. I was extremely happy. The POD was delivered to my Virginia address with no issues and transported to California in 2 weeks, I received my POD on Tuesday, May 5th in the afternoon and called to see how long I had to unload it, since I realized I was never told how long I would have. More personal touch than I expected given the online scheduling and payment - Jerman and Russ were very communicative with me during the POD delivery process. My parents are elderly and I was facilitating the delivery for them. Jerman gave the courtesy call of expected delivery time, I called him back and he stopped to return my call and explain everything, and double checked that the gate entry pass was called in.
