Absolutely horrendous experience. I needed storage due to water damage in my house. They brought me the POD on a Tuesday. It rained Tuesday and Wednesday. When I went to use the POD on Thursday the floor was soaking wet and there was water coming down the walls. When I called customer service they told me I should put a tarp over it that they don’t guarantee weather proofing. I asked them to come pick it up And that I was paying for outdoor storage. Requested "after 5:00" delivery. NEVER had a call, email or text from PODS telling us that was not available in our area. Received scheduling call yesterday saying they would be delivering between 10:00 and 1:00! We contacted customer service to request any time after 2:00 and they put in a message to the local center. Next call we got was from the driver saying he was going to be even earlier!?!?! We told the driver it needed to be after 2:00. Best invention I’ve seen. Watching delivery was exciting. Very clean - loved that. Got it almost packed and now waiting for pick up.
Pretty miserable experience so far. They were supposed to pick up the empty pod Monday but it was still there when we got home. Called and they said there was some glitch because it showed up on my end that pick up was scheduled for the 7th and it wasn't showing up on their end. No worries, she said, I won't get charged for the new billing cycle. Surprise surprise I got charged overnight and now have to call back for a third time tomorrow to request a refund for something they shouldn't have charged. Different story every ti... read more
Messed up with my payment and tried to move my delivery date back 4 days. I had non refundable plane tickets and a house I HAD to get out of. Refused to ask another location to bring me one and only offered me a small discount. I rented a uhaul and will just do it myself. Glad I've had this lined up for weeks and got screwed over the day before my move
