Podnah's sets the standard for Texas BBQ in Portland. – I keep going back to Podnah's again and again, and everyone I've taken there has loved it. Podnah's ribs depend on the smoke for their flavor. They have some nice sauces for supplements, but the smoked meat all by itself is wonderful. The sides are OK (I'm partial to the beans and coleslaw), but the meat is the reason I keep coming back. Best Pork BBQ – The BBQ was great - I had BBQ Pork sandwich that was delicious and my date had awesome BBQ chicken. The side coleslaw was fresh and crisp - soo good! I've tried different BBQ places in the area and was so happy to find an fun 'hole in the wall' restaurant that has a great personality, friendly staff, and delicious food!

It had been compared to the quality of Clay's and I was chomping at the bit to go check it out. Boy, was I disappointed. I had the ribs and they were chewy. Chewy ribs? My friend had a pulled pork sandwich,... read more
Editorial Review – Portland's Podnah's BBQ offers diners delicious Texas style barbecue, salads, desserts and more in a friendly atmosphere.
major disapointment – Get the steak if you have to go. Plan on trimming the fat. Dont order any sides and have the pecan pie with coffee. It really was bad. My daughter had gritty briskit and my hubby had the under cooked ribs that could not be stripped of its meat. It was spendy, dirty, hot and boring. We will not go back.
