The work these amazing people do for animals is just awesome!! They try to do whatever they can to save these animals. I give them a lot of credit for everything they do and thank them so much for what they do! We humans are very very lucky to have them in this area to go to with any kind of animal to have them save it thank you so much Pocono wildlife rehabilitation!!

The work being done there is amazing. But for their efforts many if not most of those animals would die.

Last summer I brought a baby house finch to PWR when the young parents abandoned the only hatchling in the nest on my porch. I put it back in the nest 3 times after it had fallen out. I watched to see if the parents returned since it was just beginning to get feathers and too young to be leaving the nest. When I saw it hanging out of the nest, with it’s mouth open ready to fall again, I took the nest down, gave it water with an eyedropper and fed it mashed dog kibble w/water. I’ve used this facility three separate times, one for a squirrel, one for a bunny, and now one for an owl! They are fantastic people, always caring and attend to your needs and calls. They are very educated!

They took an injured snow goose I found standing along the road and would not move even when I picked him up and placed him away from the road . He did not move for an hour so he was taken to the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and they are working on rehabilitating him . I was told he was in shock . They are the best and their reserve is so clean and gorgeous ! These are special people .

I took a beautiful Red Cardinal here who had suffered some type of injury or condition that prevented the bird from flying or walking .... The volunteers were very very accommodating and pleasant .... I also met the owner and was chatting with him for a bit .... This is a gemstone of a place for wildlife that cannot be in the wild for whatever reason .
