You can’t go wrong with Po Melvin’s Restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. My personal favorite is their roast beef over white rice. And you definitely want a piece of jalapeño cornbread.
Fat Tuesday, lots of people, great food. A must to place.

I love the atmosphere here! It’s been serving Irving residents for a long time and has recently upgraded its interior to match its Louisiana heritage! Comfort food and Louisiana specialties at its best!
Meals are always very good and good portions.
