We have been working with PMI for a few years now and we have been super happy with their professionalism and ethics. I have always found them to be communicative and responsive in my dealings. One of the good things is they care about the tenant and the landlord in equal measure which is a difficult balance, given they sit in the middle. No idea where the five-star reviews come from; must be from a different company. In my experience, they've been pretty difficult to work with, especially on the checkout. They overcharged us for every single little thing they could find, and even claimed that we did not return keys when we expressly showed them pictures of us leaving the keys on the counter, so they charge us anyways. They have no incentive to rectify wrong estimates when you check out of a rental property, and so they don't, and just overcharge as they can.... read more
I would never recommend this company if you’re a home owner. As tenants, our experience was miserable. When moving out, we took a picture of the keys and garage door openers (with geo and time metadata) as part of the move out process because we didn’t trust this company. We were sadly right. They charged us exorbitantly claiming that they were not all there, despite clear proof. We caught them. It was so dishonest. Then during the move out process they charged us $150 to move the garbage cans 15 feet (from curb to garage).... read more
Very difficult to deal with.
I have had numerous property managers in the past. PMI has surpassed them all and have been seamless to work with. I love that we set goals together and work towards that. I also appreciate that one person is not doing everything. They have people that work specifically in marketing, others that do maintenance or tenant transitions. Most of all, I appreciate that they are accessible. I can call at any time and get it update. Would highly recommend.
