WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WASTE OF MONEY, WASTE OF TIME TERRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT HIRE THEM- They cheated me taking my money taking all my goods and I still have no update on when it will be delivered. Its been 2 months now and i have no update after my goods were loaded on Sep28th for a move from philadelphia Pa to California. Each time I call they respond stating they have no update. I don't know where to begin but I will start with the fact that I was warned by friends and family that moving was extremely stressful. We had to move our home and store our items with Plymouth for a month while we figured out our living situation. Price wise they were the cheapest and beat out all other quotes. Delivery was prompt and timely. The team they sent to load our furniture were great. They packed things so tight and worked tirelessly to get the job done all on the same day. Is there any rating below 1 star. Just had the most awful, stressful experience of my life. I spent hours on the phone with the estimators to identify what was in our inventory, then I got the estimate. They called a few days before the movers were to arrive & of course that time the price went up over $2000. Then the movers showed up - after they got the truck loaded the price went up $14000!! I called plymouth to ask for a refund of my deposits since their estimate was so far off - guess what - no refund - WHAT A SCAM!!!
I was referred from a friend that used Plymouth on their move and they had a wonderful experience. I decided to use them as well and was very happy I did. My friend was right on in pointing me in their direction. It was a great move. Very uneventful compared to the stories you read about. I do know of people who had bad experiences and it doesn't seem pleasant. I will make sure to pass along to anyone I know how great Plymouth is.
Moving is the worst thing ever, I swear it could probably be considered as torture. Plymouth made it a heck of a lot easier for me. Rather than having my buddies move me and probably break my stuff for pizza and beer, it was better to hire the professionals at Plymouth. I definitely felt more confident in my choice to work with them.
Well I just got my belongings and was very happy with the state of my items. Nothing was destroyed or even scratched. My great grandmother's items were in tip top shape. I was content with the whole move from start to finish. I didn't feel like I was getting "sold" on the phone. I felt like working with Plymouth was a good move (pun not intended, ok well maybe it was.) I know of a few people who will be moving and Plymouth can expect them to call.
I don't know what's better than having your own moving crew move you?! Not to mention the attentive staff and level of customer service you receive with Plymouth! I honestly cannot think of one thing to complain about!! Everything was as it said and as I was told. I made sure to read my binding moving estimate in case there was something missing. My daughter was moving for college. It is her first year and her first time leaving home and moving to a different state. So as you can imagine an emotional time for all of us.
