Daniel came out and he was great. He was patient, answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. His persistence into assessing one issue, led to him identifying a bigger issue. I do appreciate all the help and patience.
I was quoted $1,025 on a sump pump swap. It’s a quality unit that retails for $500 so I think this was fair. I was then notified I needed a check valve which added almost $400 to the cost ($40 part). Not so fair and I think if you are replacing the whole pump most plumbers wouldn’t charge this much for a few minutes extra labor.
