Alvictor showed up on time. And tried out the pilot and it worked!! He did not charge for the trip. He mentioned that the heater was old and recommended replacing it in case it ran into issue again. He also explained me about emergency earthquake shutoff valve. Also checked the water pressure and recommended replacing the valve, etc He sent me the quote for those items. I plan to get those changes done
