One of the few good coffee places in the UWS
Strong coffee prepared quickly with great pastries, including my favorite -- peanut butter cookies.
This place plays amazing (classic rock) music and has tasty cheapish coffee.

The banana bread is incredible. Moist, flavorful, not too sweet (and half off before they close). Perfect with the chai tea.
You can't go wrong with Plowshares Coffee. They roast their own beans to perfection. Whether you go with tea, espresso, or pour over you won't be disappointed. Great selection of baked goods.
