The installation procedure was good but the technical support is very lax. I have had issues with the inverter and it took months of records to show them it was faulty before it was changed out. They don't respond to the technical tickets either. I lost all my programs on my computer when the backup circuit went out when the computer was doing an upgrade. The last few months the website has been missing data. Plico hasn't answered the ticket I lodged so I contacted the manufacturer who responded with they are working on it. ... read more
My battery was not charging this morning. Call helpline from morning no help. I called Gary the installer no answer. I was surprised when he texted me at 7 pm and ask if anyone has helped me. I said no. He showed me what to do and within 10 minutes system is reset. Plico support is a let down. Lucky that you have someone like Gary who went above and beyond to help me.
Love the fact, that i have some energy independence.
Found both the sales / office staff as well as installers to be friendly and knowledgable as well as passionate about the industry. Did not feel pressure to rush the process and happy to answer my questions on various options. We went for a AlphaESS 20kW battery system and averaging around 96% usage since installed in May which is above expectations for time of year. Excellent after sales / installation communication and support. 100% recommend this passionate local company.
Overall it has worked well for us. There were some WiFi issues in the beginning but Simon stepped up and sorted these for us. Installation was neat with all packaging cleaned up and removed. Sales team were very helpful as we only had a few weeks and they came through. We find the app very easy to navigate our power use.
