Dr. Pletcher was great. I had issues with staff however. I had to have a f/u CT Scan done. In the middle of the procedure, a staff member called to say all of my tests were negative. When I asked why I was having a CT Scan if that were true, she said, she had the wrong chart. Also the same staff member was supposed to have a prescription and samples of medicine for me to pick up. It took 3 visits before she had the medicine and prescription. This occurred in 7/14.
we have gone to Dr. Pletcher for many years & feel he is an excellent Doctor. Always informative, & takes the time to tell us of our conditions & answer all our questions. He also diagnosed my 89 year old father, after we had taken him to IU where he swallowed a camera, & they still could not find where he was losing blood. (after 38 or more blood transfusions). He is always kind & caring, especially to my father. We have moved to Lafayette, & still drive to Columbus to see him.
Recently met with the good Doctor and staff in preparation for an upcoming procedure, the staff was attentive to my questions and concerns. My time in the waiting room was comfortable and kept to a minimum, proving that my time was important to staff. The visit with Doctor was informative with plenty of time to ask and have questions answered. The checkout was flawless and as promised staff contacted me the next day to schedule my procedure, working with the hospital, Dr. Pletcher, and myself.
Listened to what I had to say. Answered my questions. Very polite and knowledgable.n
He listens but he does not hear what you say. In fact, sometimes, he literally hears exactly the opposite of what I just said, and dictates *that*. He talks fast, asks the same question 2 or 3 different ways, doesn't even wait for your full answer and cuts you off mid-sentence. He does not want you asking him any questions about your condition, he wants you out, out, out. He needs to STOP and LISTEN to his patients. Does not discuss labs, scopes, or ANYTHING really. Always just rushing.
