I do feel like they meant well, however I do not think they are suited for complex cases or great with follow- up care and referrals. I had to remind my NP about my 6 month follow up order for an ongoing issue and they acted like it was all done by my former NP when they did get sent the results. I think care at Plena is probably better for people who need “normal” care without many referrals needed. I was promised follow through, referrals, and natural remedies- the latter I know is not 100%, it depends on a lot of factors. I was really encouraged. However…. You can’t get anyone on the phone and the three times I was able to, I received an argument not progress. Beware of the front office staff, nice to your face, mean on the phone… I asked said provider during a visit, if any other office asks, I can say yes, this provider is my PCP. She said YES. My experience in the office was wonderful but the follow up and online support does not work... it was even difficult to pay my bill which came in an email but none of the online links worked. Follow up should not be this difficult!
