Recommendedbest bargain on the beach! love these guys! I had special requests for placement of my chairs & umbrellas & they did exactly as I requested! I will use these guys every trip from now on.

100% would recommend renting from these guys. A few months ago I was helping my aunt with some yard work and at some point I pulled off my gloves and my wedding band slipped off. I searched for a few days with no luck. I contacted pleasure island rentals and even though they were closed they agreed to meet me to allow me to rent a metal detector for the day. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name but he was incredibly nice and prompt. I ended up finding my wedding band and I owe it all to these guys. Thanks!
Rented 4 bikes for the day and within a matter of 2 hours 2 of the bikes had broken chains. When we told the workers they just ignored it and said, “well glad you had fun!” Not recommended.

Highly recommend the kayak trip to shark tooth island with Chelsea. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. We had beautiful weather for the paddle over but once there it started raining heavily. We stuck it out and had a blast! Don’t cancel your plans if rain is threatening! Chelsea kept a close eye on the radar for us to ensure storms weren’t approaching. We probably vacationed at Carolina Beach the worst possible week, July 4th. It was super crowded. Another company came in and set up their chairs right in front of ours. I emailed Pleasure Island Rentals about the problem. I received a call not long after asking how they could make it better. Did I want the chairs moved further down the beach or closer to the shore line. The next day, our chairs were set up by the shore line as requested. I was pleased with how they handled my issue.
One of the most accommodating places I’ve ever worked with. Friendly, fun, and helpful staff!
