great italian food – This restaurant is in my top five faves and definitely my favorite for italian food. We recently hosted a party there for about 24 people and it was fabulous as always. The waitstaff was so prompt and courteous and the food was excellent, as always. Even though I understand the owner is new the restaurant has been around for a long time and the new owner's have retained everything about it that makes it a great place to eat. The portions are also large.

Nice little place for a date or gathering – I liked this place. The food was so good and it was reasonably priced. They offer your usual Italian entrees but they have some different appetizers to try. Plus their Italian bread is so good. Reservations are recommended for a group, this place isn't big. The bar is in the front and the restaurant is in the back. Parking in Bloomfield can sometimes be tight but after eating all the delicious food here, a walk back to the car afterwards wouldn't hurt.

Good Food – Headed in after our first choice restaurant was packed...They sat us very quickly and service was very good. I think the wine list was a little limited for an italian restaurant - but they had what I wanted so no big deal. The food was very good. We ordered (and ate) a ton - for not a lot of money. Remodeled and Professional – I visited the Pleasure Bar recently and was pleasently surprised to see the remodeling done to such an old building. Wow is all I can say and no words could describe. I also noticed how clean and professional the employees were considering the restaurant being family owned. Our group was a large party and we were handled with no reservations and with the utmost care. Would recommend to families, couples, and gatherings of any kind.
Pleasure Bar is the Place to Eat – I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food the service was good too! They have a wide variety menu with lots to offer.
