Looking forward to Concert in the Park tomorrow night
i wish that all you newbies to this wonderful town, could have been there in the 50's and 60's and 70's... it was a great place to live. simple, beautiful...less crime, traffic. I hardly recognized my town when I came back for my 50th amador reunion. Couldn't believe the growth...people and trees.. Pleasanton will always be my home town with wonderful memories and friends. GO DONS!
This is specifically about the concerts in the park. Love the venue and the effort made to present the show. However, it's frustrating that if you're not the 20 or so people directly in front of the stage you can barely hear the band. You mostly hear traffic noise from first street with a faint sound of the band in the background.
Business response:
Hi Dan - thank you for your feedback & for being a part of Concerts in the Park. We know the sound at concerts can be difficult to hear from various parts of the park. We are working closely with the City of Pleasanton on the master plan to redesign & improve both Wayside & Delucchi Parks. Our hope is that we can have a vastly improved sound system as part of a new amphitheater.
Pleasanton Downtown Association has a 4.4 star rating with 119 reviews.
