Beautiful weather to take a walk from parking lot to Dillon's. We started with fried pickles. First time for me & I liked them. Meals included pull pork and burned tips, all very good. Side dishes are terrible, from tasteless mac & cheese, worst cole slaw ever & way overcooked green beans (not fresh at all). The lemon blueberry cake had no cinnamon or lemon flavors as stated on menu and was from frozen, since blueberries were still frozen. The food was very good. I had the taco salad which was really good. The service was outstanding and the weather perfect. My friend had the side of asparagus which was bland and rubbery, however, her Angus burger was delicious. The other 6 meals were very good. No food went to waste with the exception of the asparagus. They were very busy so that is why we didn't send it back. Love Dillons.

great food, absolutely magnificent setting and scenery. the band was incredible and played every song requested, even if they all didn't know it. too much fun!
It was ok but far from North Carolina BBQ. The menu said "spicy vinegar" for Carolina Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich. It was a light BBQ sauce which killed the smoke flavor of the meat. If they actually used a "spicy vinegar", the smoked flavor would've been preserved. I don't know which part of Carolina they are going for but the SMOKED flavor should absorb any sauce if smoked right. What part of Carolina wouldn't matter. I think the grillers/smokers should tenderize and smoke the meat longer.
