We went to Plaza Azteca to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and when we asked our waiter (Marcos) for a food recommendation, he told us we should “find Jesus” and said he doesn’t recommend alcohol because he and his daughter are alcoholics. This was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional — we came to enjoy a birthday meal, not to be lectured about religion or personal struggles.
