After four decades of Video Gaming a few things are clear to us: Arcade games must be played in their original format- joysticks, buttons, and a lo-rez tv screen in a big custom cabinet! Playing online has it's drawbacks, nothing beats playing against opponents sitting across the room. They normally ask for 2 forms of ids if youre from outside the states. Me, being Puertorrican, still chose to give two forms of ids (even though we're "american citizens" and I technically didn't have to), one of them being my drivers license, and they denied my entrance to the bar because "legally they weren't allowed to". RecommendedThis place is amazing. The wife and I had a great date night there. The service was great, the space was perfect, and the game selection legendary. I had a beer that had coconut and it was so good.
I absolutely love Player 1. True down to earth atmosphere, lots of love for video game / movie culture, great clientele.
Awesome experience every time I go. Only $5 to game with friends all night? How could you not love this place

If you like video games and craft beer this is your place! The history of games along the bar top is really cool. Plenty of easy parking. Also a nice break from the slot machines and gambling tables. Check it out!
