They not only have amazing Mexican food, but they have fabulous burgers and fries too. The service is always top notch and timely. The place is clean and we are always comfortable eating there. Definitely recommend for a dinner date or a family meal.
Their burritos are t he BOMB! It was so super yummy! I had the deluxe burrito with chicken. I will definitely be back and refer friends and family!
Best Mexican food in Alaska. Moved up here 4 years ago after a brief time living in Texas and all Mexican food in Alaska tastes like it is 5000 miles away from Mexico. This shit though, I walk outside after stuffing my big fat pie hole, and I'm like "what? I'm in Alaska? But I just had real Mexican food, how did this happen" drove 4 hours yesterday just to eat here, and today I'm starving and there is a void inside me, a burritoless void. I love you Playa Azul.

Have not had a bad experience here. Friendly and fast service, food is always fresh and hot. Don't skip the white queso!!
