Terrible customer service and their “policies” are just theft. I put a snowboard on consignment back in December and the contract ended March 26th. The store closed on March 23rd due to the pandemic so I wasn’t able to call and check on it on the date I had set my calendar reminder for and kept forgetting to call once they opened back up due to the fact that I work and their hours have been during my work hours. I’ve been to this store a handful of times. The door says they open at 10. They’re never timely in their arrival and have been 10 minutes late (or more) every time I’ve attempted to go in. Today I went with a tight schedule and a couple bins of hockey and figure skating gear. Again he was late. I waited to be waited on and had to leave for another appointment. DO NOT SHOP HERE!! The two owners have absolutely horrible customer service!! I purchased a rusty, old, used standard barbell from here for $30. I then changed my mind and bought an Olympic sized barbell from another store brand new for $50. I came to return the used barbell and was told to leave because I needed both receipts (extremely rudely). I went home and found the other receipt and brought it back to them today. Absolutely horrible customer service. They are completely rude and disrespectful! The owners are the worst, they will refuse to accept a return just to keep their money. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else because this local business will do you wrong, no doubt.
Check their equipment before selling it and returning my call as promised by the owners wife!!!
9/9/17 I was in the store with my family to sell some baseball stuff. I spotted a great birthday present for my son. The staff was VERY discrete when handling the surprise. Truly knowable about their products and friendly. It is nice to walk in somewhere and nice and helpful.
