After calling several salons to see if they would be open the next day (the fourth of July), I finally got in touch with Kelly who said he would indeed to be open. All I wanted was a simple bang trim, but he refused to do this for me. He said that he does free bang trims for his clients. I told him that I didn't expect it to be free, but he still refused. After four years of bouncing around from stylist to stylist, I've finally found my hair home. It's one thing to get a great haircut. It's another thing entirely to find the kind of hair ninja who can make your cut look good as it grows out. Kelly is a top-notch stylist. Not only is he skilled with the scissors, he's personable and relaxed. I also love the quiet atmosphere in Platypus; it's a great place to relax. I'm definitely a devoted customer.
