I came to platters with high hopes after reading the reviews. I will note that there are 2 locations and I'm speaking specifically about the one in the outlets area. Went in close to dinner. We were told after being seated that the full menu was not available. We were ok with that because we were starving. We start off by ordering fish sliders and beverages while we go over the menu. Waitresses are fantastic and very nice, I ordered the Mango Habanero wings and it was the tastiest wings I’ve had.
It said it was open but it was closed at this location today.
The actual seafood boil was tasteless. The "sauce" was unseasoned and soupy. The shrimp was over cooked and the lobster tail was rubbery. On a good note, service was good and the shrimp and crabmeat salad was worth the trip. I would only come back for that.
This place is not set up yet for seafood (they don’t have Crabs at this location & don’t go buy the Google Maps address because they moved !!! The wait time was super slow and it was only 3 tables in house !!! I try to support black business but they lack .. completely we walked out and 2 other tables did also !!
