Plato's Closet is willing to nickle and dime its customers to commit petty theft breaking CA Penal Code § 490.1 Short changed, asked for my money; which I am legally entitled to, was told to contact owner. Owner had worker give me money im entitled to; worker told me not to come back. Only come here if you want to be short changed without posted signage of policy which is illegal. Very nice lady in the front she was very sweet compared to the other staff . I went around 2pm however at 5pm there was a girl with attitude she acted like she hates her job. She needs to get trained by her coworker for sure !

I brought some clothes here hoping to sell them, but the whole experience was very disappointing. They looked at my items for less than a minute and immediately told me to take everything back. They didn’t accept even one piece, and it honestly felt like they didn’t really take the time to properly review anything. If you are planning to bring clothes here to sell, I would not recommend wasting your time.
