I brought a bunch of things in to sell today and in the end, they picked about four items. They told me the rest was too worn or too old. The too old statement made me laugh. All of the items they bought from me were 4 years old or older. I think the store needs to adopt better standards or new sayings because this doesn't work.
I can't speak highly enough of Savannah and Stephanie. After having a horrible experience at the 28th street location, these women were angels. They took the time to go thru all of my clothes, telling me why some were not the fashions that were selling at the moment and bought quite a few things as well. They were so kind to me and I'm forever thankful for that. It made a horrible day turn into a much better one. How did this get 4.1 stars when the reviews are so bad? Anyway, something is fishy about how they accept crappy clothes and pay high and turn down better ones or take a couple things and pay way too little. The lowest pair of pants there was at least $15-$20. But I got two for some brand new ones. Now they tell you that they pay at least 30%. If that was true it means that those pants would sell for around $7. But they actually would sell for around $20. So really they are only paying a fraction of what they say. But if you ... read more

We do sell everything in store at 50-70% off of the original retail price and always offer our customers 30-40% of what we sell it for in store. What ever happened to first come first serve? Not any of this "well if you want it call and we will put it on hold" bullshit. No wonder your selection of clothes has gone downhill the last couple years. Or the fact that you sell brands from walmart and target but wont buy the majority of the clothes brought in. Almost all of the staff is rude and unhelpful. They all look at you like you are gonna steal something. Horrible experience and employees are not professional one bit.
I went into the store a couple weeks ago and I had a great experience there! I loved a lot of the clothes I saw! The prices were great, I even bought a ring for $3.00! I loved the atmosphere in Plato's closet because of the music that I heard, I felt as if is a fun place! The girls were all cheerful and I love the men's shirt I bought there, it looks great on me! You can either choose to be positive or negative in life. Positive is more fun!
