Thanks Plato's closet for buying things from my son only to mistakenly give the full bag you didn't go through to the seller before us. Spent 30 mins after our sale to get "We're sorry but there's nothing we can do " They tried to call her and she didn't answer. Advertising 3 day "clearance" sale. NOTHING on the racks! Then clerk and a manager wanted to get nasty about the two items I was able to find when they rang up wrong. Considering not shopping there again.
Love taking my 14 yo daughters there and tell them they have $50 each to buy what the want/need. I get final approval but the always leave happy. We do this a couple times per year. As painless as possible on Dad.
Will not be doing any more shopping at Plato's Closet. I took 2 BiG garbage bag full of clothes. They were up to style, practically brand new, and all name brand. Waited 40 mins, while they "looked" through my clothes, Which as I shopped, I watched them, they didn't even open one of the bags, all they did was look down in the bag. After they called me up for my sell they said in a VERY rude manor "we have no need for your clothes, were not buying any of them" I had an arm full of clothes I had planned on purchasing from them... read more
The staff seemed very rude. Merchandise was extremely wore & over priced for the quality. Very disappointed....
I don't know why I continue to try to sell here. I literally have tried time and time again. I brought a bag full of mine and my friends new clothes (we clean out our closet at least every 3 months) they all had tags on it obviously never worn and you can still buy in the store! they bought nothing. oh I got a 3 dollar offer on never worn ugg boots. it sounds sad but honestly trying to sell your clothes on eBay is better than trying to "sell" them the Plato's closet. and half the stuff they have looks downright disgusting. t... read more

Unfortunately, we are unable to take very many spring/summer items at this time because of limited space. We will be buying more of those items in a couple months. Don't waste your time!! Donate your stuff to churches, FRYSC's, anywhere!! The store is messy, the clothes look horrible and the kids that are working there really need to take a class in social etiquette or just try and remember simple customer service! I will never ever go again! They took 5 plain t shirts from Kohls that were about 4 years old and passed on never worn golf shirts that are no more than a year and a half old in many different colors that most of the students here in this school system can use due to the dre... read more
