1st and last time taking new with tags name brand clothes to Plato's closet. I was Offered 6$ for Sperry topsider shoes that still had price tag on them! And offered me 6$ for lucky brand wedges that also were new in box with 70$ price tag! I love to shop there but they LITERALLY ROB and INSULT you at the same time.... And there prices aren't cheap either so its not like there buying my new 80$ sperrys for 6$ to sale to there customers for 15$ I'm sure they would price them for 40$ or some where around there...SALE YOUR OWN ... read more
The staff was rude - they were so behind that there was no way they went through my entire basket and turned down everything!!!!!!! I had name brand shirts, pants and shoes The girl had the audacity to tell me to "take them home and wash them" which I already had done before taking them in"!!!! The place is a joke - a complete rip off and customer service is subpar
I brought my clothes in there and they basically refused to look at them, and wouldn't let me speak to a general manager. I will defiantly not be shopping there again.
the staff there make up BS excuses so they don't have to buy any name brand clothes that THEY themselves do not like. took 4 pairs of jeans from different brands there to get rid of, haven't been worn in quite a while, didn't have holes in them or anything and were as clean as the day they were washed. THEY DIDN'T EVEN TAKE THEM OUT OF THE BAG I BROUGHT THEM IN FOR CHRIST SAKE, instead they thumbed through them really fast and made up an excuse on the grounds of quote "they have stains on them". Three times I've taken clothes to Platos Closet to sell. I make sure there are no stains or anything on them and three times I've been told the same thing.. "unfortunately we are unable to take anything due to us not having a need for any clothing at this time" Ok, why don't you put on the door that you're not buying at this time? This was the last time I try to sell anything to this place... Very dissatisfied!!!!!!!!!
I was so dissatisfied! All my clothes were so nice. And they wanted to give me $9.40 for 2 pairs of jeans, and the rest of it was very nice. Never going back in there again!
Rude employees they need to hire new ppl and the clothes there is horrible i rather go to the goodwill or buy it new
