The past few times I’ve been in to sell my clothes, I’ve left disappointed and upset. Plato’s Closer used to take sooooo many different styles of clothes. It seems they’ve become extremely picky. I’m hoping soon I’ll be able to sell my clothes there and not leave disappointed. The workers are very friendly, but 2 stars for the service of buying clothes from customers.

Honestly im surprised the store is still open . one day i went in there and was selling stuff and i two coach purses no stains no rips one had a tag on it and one pair of rock revivals with a tag they offered me 20.56 for all the and they were in perfect condition i refused the offer i understand they have to make money . i have seen clothes with holes stains and they want alot for and like coach purses that are in bad shape and want between 40 to 60 dollars for the place is a joke
The people there were really nice, but when I took good clothing in, they rejected it all because it had stains, which I thoroughly checked my clothes prior. I ended up buying shorts after they rejected my clothes and when I got home, the shorts had an inch long rip along the waistline. So basically I ended up with something that was in worse shape than the clothes I rejected.

I took some very nice jeans in namebrand clothes into Plato's closet two full bags and they only took one item. I asked them why they did not take my jeans and they said they don't take Ariat or cruel girls because they are cowgirl clothes. but I looked on their racks of clothes for sale and they had ariat and cruel girl jeans so the gal lied to me. then told me that they can't take my dress pants because they're lady clothes, they are from express and Maurices!

I paid $50 for a Coach bag that turned out to be fake, although they guaranteed it was real. and then they refused to take it back when I called them out on it!! I also brought in three pairs of Silvers Jeans and they offered me $10 for all 3 of them total.. their $100 jeans and were Never worn!

I am totally disgusted with Platos Closet. I have brought in name brand clothing. Extremely clean clothing. Clothing that has been dry cleaned. They didn't want it. I have brought in Miss Me jeans but wouldn't accept them because of a little fraying around the button hole. But I have bought jeans their with holes in them. Are you kidding me???!!! I brought in a pair of jeans that I wore in the 80's and they bought them. They need to get their priority straight. And another thing...the clerks working are half wits and rude. F... read more
