Love this place! My teen daughter and her friends love it too. Great clothes for a fraction of the cost, and some still have store tags on them.
I thought this place was great until one day I was going to sell them a pair of Lebron James shoes. A shoe that in a mans size will price well over $150-200 brand new. My Husband wore them about 3 or 4 times. So they where like pretty much new. I was told they give you 30% of what they would sell them for. The girl proceeds to tell me we will give you $10 for them. It may seem that it depends upon the buyer, but please know that our needs fluctuate weekly and therefore what we can buy also regularly changes. Buyers are constantly reviewed and tested in order to maintain continuity. It's not up to individual buyers to step outside of our strongly controlled guidelines -- it just seems like they differentiate because of the current store demands.
Never really shop at this one but hopefully you guys are better than the hagerstown one they suck ass and the owner will change the price on an item after it is bought if she doesn't like it and thinks it should be more. Witch means the customer should of got more money. The owner is a crook/ thief. And the management wow forget about it, its awful.

Although we never like to hear of negative experiences at any Plato's Closet, each store is individually owned. Therefore we really can't speak to your experience. We are proud of the Frederick store and always appreciate feedback about how we are doing!
This place sucks. I tried to sell some clothes and they said that I couldn't. Not only that it's just horrible service. Never go here
It's true they're difficult to sell to- that's what makes they're selection to buy from SO WONDERFUL. Fair prices. I have only ever experienced polite and friendly staff. I have been dozens of times. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars? The selection is TOO on trend. I can rarely to never find a dress with a covered fully covered back. Maybe I'm just an old lady at heart, but I really wish they had more than a handful of tasteful pieces.
