Don’t waste your time taking clothes to this Plato’s Closet. They declined to accept business casual clothing, and many lightly worn dresses and skirts. I took in a good amount of sweaters, jeans, and shorts (some that have never been worn). They said they can’t accept them because they look slightly worn... this is a consignment store. I am sorry to say I would NOT recommend this store to anyone.
RecommendedExperience was alright. Was greeted right away when I walked in which I truly appreciate but the amount of gossip and chatting amongst the employees was not acceptable. I heard cursing and a lot of personal information I did not care to hear.

I have been largely unsuccessful selling clothes in this shop, but I found a couple good deals while browsing.
It never fails when I go to Plato’s closet that they DON’T take my things. This is the 5th time and each time they literally have not taken anything! Screw this place! Never will I ever go back there!
Too many ridiculous rules if you're a seller of merchandise.

I'm so surprised by this very negative review (1 star) of our selling process. We do require a valid photo ID when selling items to us, and we do need sellers to pick up their items the same day they drop off because we have limited storage space. We receive thousands of items every day in our store, and in order to run efficiently picking up items is necessary. This store is a real gem. The selection and quality are amazing, Check them out, you won't leave empty-handed, so many great deals. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.
I love this store so much very affordable I bought 7 rompers, crop top and a pair of shoes for $50 😊😊

I'm not sure why it shows one my post that I recommended this place asking my friends for recommendations on where (website, app's or otherwise) to sell clothing and other items, maybe it's because I mentioned this place in a comment?? But NO, in NO WAY shape or form would I recommend this place to ANYONE!!! EVER!!! Decently priced jeans when you're buying from them but they don't give you anywhere near what would be acceptable when you bring in things that you want to sell (even brand new items with tags still on them) what... read more
