Dr. Shorten was horrifically incompetent and lacked both compassion and insight. After seeing him for months, he later stated he believed I had been lying about all that I had been reporting and confiding in him. This was especially troubling as the care I sought was after experiencing significant trauma that was criminal in nature. I can’t say enough good things about my experience here. For the first time, I actually felt listened to—Alisha Holden took the time to truly hear me out and understand my concerns instead of rushing through. The communication was clear, compassionate, and professional from start to finish. Pricing was very reasonable compared to other practices I’ve tried, and I left feeling hopeful and supported. Great clinic. Always ready to assist me, very friendly, and informative. I recommend! With the help of Dr. Holben I was able to overcome hardship. I felt supported and heard. I was a hesitant client but I am happier and healthier now. The future is not as scary. Thanks for everything Platinum Psychiatry.
Dr. Holben is great. No issues with her. My issue is with their administrative staff. Shelby in particular. I needed a form filled out for work. I spoke to my doctor and sent it over four times. It was completely ignored. Needless to say, I lost my job.
