Stay away! Worst customer service in the gate openers industry. They claim the blsl840 slide gate opener has 8 year warranty but they give you the run around and blame other accessories for causing the issues and they won’t replace the motherboard no matter what. I installed two units back in 2024 and the mother board intermittently freezes and the gate is left stuck in the open position and keeps beeping until a hard reset it performed. I have a Platinum Access gate opener BLSW 814 and it has failed after a close Lightning strike I have called the technical helpline and spoke to Petro. He helped me very knowledgeable ?to diagnose the problem with a failed circuit board, he instructed me how to send it back to Platinum for repair and I received the repaired circuit port within a short time at no charge.Petro knows the product very well and it’s a pleasure for him to Guide me. This company has been a great wealth of knowledge with my electric gate system. I was having a lot of trouble with lightning disabling my gate. I contacted Gene Liu. He recognized that the photo eye relay was the problem. After he sent me a new circuit board, which no longer needed the photo eye relay. My gate is working perfectly, even with severe lightening storms. I would recommend this company and product!
Great techs! About a year ago we had a board fail. They help me diagnose that. We sent it to them. They sent it back. I installed it and it worked. They helped me set it back up and just today I needed a little bit of help with a mag lock and they help me set it up
They basically stole from us. They said to send in the main board of the gate operator for an exchange with another board. They never sent us the replacement. They asked for the FedEx tracking numbers proving we sent them the board, we did that. After countless emails and phone calls with apparently all 3 people who work at the company, we are out $510. Do not trust this company.
